The Spanish, Italian and Portuguese graduate students association, SIPGO, is organizing an event next week: a fundraiser bake sale
for SIPGO and for the Eastern Illinois Foodbank.
The sale will take place next Monday and Tuesday, December 6 and 7, in the lobby of FLB from 8:30am until 1:30pm.
The theme of the event is "Indulge for others" - they will be donating half of their profits to the Foodbank (which then distributes food to people in need in our community).
In addition to selling baked goods, they will also collect items on-site to
accompany the monetary contribution that they will make from the bake sale
earnings. Attached is a list of items that SIPGO will be collecting.
Please stop by on Monday and Tuesday to interact with our students and find out more about their cause and how you can contribute.
